These Terms are a binding agreement between you and SERVA Global ("SERVA", "we", "us") governing your use of the SERVA app. By creating an account or using SERVA you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Please read Section 8 (acceptable use) — we have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, form the entire agreement between you and SERVA for the app and supersede prior understandings.
You must be at least the minimum age in your country to use SERVA. You sign in with your mobile number, must give accurate information, and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your device and verification codes secure, and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. One account per person.
SERVA is a platform that helps you discover restaurants and request tables. The restaurant — not SERVA — provides the dining service and is responsible for your reservation and experience. Availability shown is indicative and is not guaranteed until confirmed by the venue.
You can modify or cancel a reservation from My Bookings, subject to the venue's policy. Repeated no-shows or abusive booking behaviour may result in limits on, or termination of, your access.
Points are personal to you, have no cash value, are not transferable, and may change or expire. We may adjust, withhold, or reverse points obtained through error, fraud, or abuse.
You keep ownership of the photos, reviews, and other content you post. You grant SERVA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content in and to operate and promote the app, for as long as you keep it posted plus a reasonable period for backups.
You represent that you own or have the rights to what you post, that it is accurate where it purports to be (e.g. reviews of real visits), and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. You must not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, spam, or that infringes others' rights or privacy, or impersonates anyone.
You can report any post and block any member in the app. We review reports and may remove content and warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We act on reports of objectionable content and ejection of abusive users within 24 hours where action is warranted.
To report content in the app, use the “⋯” menu on a post. To report content you believe infringes your intellectual property, email legal@servaglobal.com with: identification of the work, the location of the content in the app, your contact details, and a statement of good-faith belief and accuracy. We remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
Do not break the law; infringe others' rights; post others' private information; impersonate anyone; spam; submit fake reviews; scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app's operation or security; or use the app to harm others.
SERVA and its name, logo, design, software, and content (other than member content) are owned by us and our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works except as the law allows.
Restaurants and other third parties are independent. We are not responsible for their food, service, availability, pricing, or policies, or for any third-party services integrated with the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SERVA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or AED 500. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
You will indemnify SERVA against claims, losses, and costs arising from your content, your use of the app, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
You may stop using SERVA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect members, venues, or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (content licence, IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
If you download SERVA from the Apple App Store, these Terms are the licence between you and SERVA only; Apple is not a party. The licence is the usage covered by Apple's standard EULA / Licensed Application terms, on the device(s) you own or control as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
SERVA — not Apple — is solely responsible for the app, its content, maintenance and support, any product warranties, and addressing any claims (including product-liability, legal/regulatory, and third-party intellectual-property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You confirm you are not in a country subject to a relevant embargo and are not on a prohibited-parties list, and you will comply with applicable third-party terms and export laws. Equivalent terms apply for Google Play and other stores.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. We will try to resolve disputes informally first — please contact legal@servaglobal.com. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms; we will post changes here and update the date, and material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continued use means you accept them.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger or sale; you may not. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for events beyond its reasonable control.
